Square 1. The Bible is the Word of God/Allah.
“All scripture is inspired by God”
2 Timothy 3:16 (King James Version)
“He has revealed to you O Prophet the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah (Old Testament) and the Gospel (New Testament) previously, as a guide for people, and also revealed the Decisive Authority. Surely those who reject Allah’s revelations will suffer a severe torment.”
Surah 3:3-4
“If you O Prophet are in doubt about these stories that We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you (Torah and Gospel). The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt,”
Surah 10:94
“So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are truly the rebellious.”
Surah 5:47
“There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was it [the Quran] a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it (Torah and Gospel) and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe.”
Surah 12:111
Square 2. God/Allah does not contradict Himself.
“in which it was impossible for God to lie”
Hebrews 6:18b (KJV)
“Surely I, the LORD, do not change”
Malachi 3:6a (KJV)
“For them is good news in this worldly life and the Hereafter. There is no change in the promise of Allah. That is truly the ultimate triumph.”
“Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would have certainly found in it many inconsistencies.”
Square 3. The Quran also speaks for God/Allah.
“It is not possible for this Quran to have been produced by anyone other than Allah. In fact, it is a confirmation of what came before, and an explanation of the Scripture. It is, without a doubt, from the Lord of all worlds.”
“Indeed, it (Quran) is the word of a noble Messenger. And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.”
Square 4. The Quran teaches faith plus works for salvation.
“Allah has promised those who believe and do good His forgiveness and a great reward.”
“And those who believe and do good will be the residents of Paradise. They will be there forever.”
“As for those who believe and do good, We will admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. There they will have pure spouses, and We will place them under a vast shade.”
“But those who do good—whether male or female—and have faith will enter Paradise and will never be wronged even as much as the speck on a date stone.”
"Indeed, those who believe and do good—they are the best of all beings. Their reward with their Lord will be Gardens of Eternity, under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is ˹only˺ for those in awe of their Lord.”
Square 5. The Bible teaches salvation by faith alone apart from doing good.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one may boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 (King James Version)
“For we consider that a person is justified by faith apart from works of the law.”
Romans 3:28 (KJV)
“since no human being will be justified in his sight by observing the law; for through the law comes consciousness of sin.”

Square 6. Final Point.
If the Bible is the Word of God (pt. 1), and God does not contradict Himself (pt. 2), then the Quran, which claims to also speak for God (pt. 3) discredits itself as the one true religion because it contradicts the Word of God by teaching faith plus works for salvation (pt. 4) when the Bible, which came first, clearly and unmistakenly teaches faith alone apart from doing good for salvation (pt. 5).

The Biblical Gospel
God is holy and just, and has set a day in which He will judge the earth in righteousness (Acts 17:31). He will not overlook any sin. How will you do? Here’s a quick test: How many times have you ever lied, stolen, and used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you’ve done these things God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart; and the Bible warns that one day God will justly punish you in Hell.
But God lovingly and mercifully provided a way for forgiveness. We’ve broken God’s moral Law, but Jesus, who was sinless, paid the fine on the cross for guilty sinners. This means God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Make up your mind/heart to turn from sin and to trust Jesus alone and in His righteousness (not your own failed self-righteousness), then God will forgive your sins and grant you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily, obey it, and find a Bible-believing church where you can learn and grow as a believer.
